A Multi-Specialty Medical Group Gets a Brand Reinvigoration

Rendr, the leading primary care multi-specialty medical group serving the Asian community in New York City, turned to us for help with a brand reinvigoration. Inspired by technology retail design, they wanted functional, straightforward, and minimal interiors that showcased transparency and kindness. The challenge was designing intimate, unique spaces for a large supersite, with the company desiring a simple, minimal aesthetic. For the Queens location, our team curated a modern, clean, and crisp environment to reflect Rendr’s world-class, value-based medical care. We collaborated with the team to ensure ideal patient and provider flow throughout the clinic, with a focus on a positive experience in reception areas that carries through the rest of the site. With a bit of design magic, we created moments that feel caring and personalized for patients – even in the large waiting rooms – with small seating groupings anchored by pendant lights and soothing artwork. Throughout the building,  strategically placed vibrant greens and teals offset the high contrast wood, concrete, and blackened metal tones and subtly reflect the refreshed branding and complement the forward-thinking company vision. Through our partnership with Rendr, we developed straightforward design standards that were integrated into several more sites throughout New York City, establishing a consistent foundation for future practice growth.
