Clinical Precision is Balanced with Warmth + Joy for a Fertility Clinic

This project came to us with specific, yet disparate design requirements – to convey both clinical precision and warmth. Providing innovative and patient-centered care, Spring Fertility asked us to design brand new clinics in Manhattan (pictured) and Silicon Valley and refresh its San Francisco space. For the two-floor Manhattan clinic, our design team delivered an elevated and crisp environment that represents the company’s professionalism and innovative expertise, while feeling pleasant and welcoming. Thoughtfully curated to be polished yet comfortable, the reception area’s modern, clean design is softened by a curving custom millwork desk and relaxed lounge seating, while a living moss wall displays the logo and adds vibrancy. The custom moss art is repeated in the second “living room-like” waiting area on the clinical floor that nurtures patients with comfortable contemporary couches and an organic wood sculpture by California artist, Katie Gong. Throughout the two levels, splashes of color on accent walls, organic tile patterns, and graphic wallpaper provide variations in texture and materials to lighten up the clinical feel and create moments that add levity and spark joy. We continue to replicate these design features in other locations for brand consistency as the practice expands its geographic footprint.
