Lively Re-envisioning for a Family of Five

In our second project for this energetic family with three young children, we were challenged to furnish their home without interrupting the existing dark, dramatic, and traditional details in the space. Using the dark paint and wallcoverings accented with brass and gold detail as a blank canvas, we selected statement furnishings upholstered in bold fabrics of yellow, blue, and green. The furniture remains both practical and elegant with soft lines and minimal hardware. While the formal spaces lean dramatic and bold, we incorporated a cream and gold detailed wallcovering to the family room to lighten and unify the main level. The result is a truly unique, playful, and approachable space for everyday living and entertainment.
